Ella's New Quilt

We had a quilt made for Ella from my friend Kathleen's mother, Susan. It is even more beautiful than I was hoping, she did such an amazing job! I can't wait to decorate Ella's pink and green room when we get into a house. Susan also surprised us with a little mini-quilt for Ella's dolls. Ella is already having fun covering her baby up with the quilt. How sweet!

We've arrived!

We arrived in Eden Prairie after a grueling 18 hour drive. In all actuality, it went very smoothly... Jeff impressively drove the majority of the drive and Ella slept most of the time we were in the car. After a pit stop in Des Moines, IA, we made it to Eden Prairie this morning and have already starting talking to a realtor to find a new home. We are already excited to be back in the Midwest and among all the lakes and trees- it is beautiful!

It's So Hard to Say Goodbye...

How do you even begin to go about saying goodbye to people that have become part of your family over the last 5 years? Although we are excited for our upcoming move, it has been a very difficult couple of days as we have been forced to deal with the inevitable goodbyes. For any of you reading this, I just want to thank you for the ways that you have touched our lives. We are so thankful for having met so many wonderful people and know that even though we will be far apart, the friendships will last forever. We love you all!
